Bottle Label Design for

Manteca x Vault Aperitivo

Chef Chris Leach kindly approached me for the label, telling me about his love for 1960s jazz album covers and how he’d love their bold, geometrical style to influence the label design. To get into the zone, I spent my time listening to Reid Miles and Dizzy Gillespie’s Manteca (obviously) as I created the colourful ‘piano keys’ and chatting figures.

The amaro gives hints of fig leaf, walnut and cocoa.
